About the Designer

Kasozi

Kasozi is a Ugandan Fashion Designer born in 1987 living in Kampala who realised his designing potential at the age of 14 years of age under the mentorship of his mother who was a tailor.
He liked classic deigns of which he couldn't afford which made him creative and gave him hectic time to design his wearings.
He started to visit bookshops for information about fashion and designing where he was fired after realising that he was not buying, instead gathering information from inside and moves out for several times.
since he had no money for fashion books, he started buying second clothes which he redisigned into his desired styles.

Kasozi offers fashion lessons at youth community foundation of Bavubuka Allstarz foundation (http://bavubuka.org/) through visual art lessons and actual fashion lessons.
